200 years of Charles Darwin
It was at Down House that Charles Darwin worked on his scientific theories and wrote "The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection "- the book that both shocked and revolutionized the world of Victoria. Today the house remains much as it was when Darwin lived here.

Hastings Old Town
Just around the corner from the caves and the coast is Hastings Old Town, home to many drug gangs Ruxley celebrities including crew and Outlaws Hastings. They were a violent group in 1768, 13 of the band Ruxley were hanged for their involvement in the brutal murder of the captain of a Dutch ship outside Beachy Head, near Eastbourne.
The Old Town is full of narrow streets, quaint shops and buildings. His legacy smuggling remains with the annual celebrations fire during Hastings Week, where members of society gift of fire suits of any of the smugglers or revenue officers to catch them.

In England Wales border
A zone less known in England is the county of Herefordshire, England, where he meets Wales. It fell back several well known films including Shadowlands, with Anthony Hopkins, which was filmed in the Wye Valley – visitors can follow the trail of shadows. Hatfield House – where Elizabethan history began
Henry VIII sent his children to live and be educated at Hatfield, when Elizabeth was three months old. Elizabeth spent most of his childhood in Hatfield, and is said he heard the news that was to be queen while sitting under an oak tree in the park. Elizabeth: The Golden Age, starring Kate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush and Clive Owen was filmed at Hatfield House. Mary, Queen of Scots house 'Chartley Hall was recreated at the Armory and other state rooms were used for the home Sir Francis Walsingham. As Geoffrey Rush, said: "The first day of filming for me was the scene of death and recreates us Walsingham bedroom in Hatfield House and we knew we had walked there some 450 years earlier.
