Robert Frost was born in San Francisco in 1874 however after his father's death when young Frost was eleven the family moved across the country to Massachusetts. This move was symbolic in the life of a child because it was an attempt to start a new life and forget about father's death, leaving a place of tragedy. He attended high school in a new state, and entered Dartmouth College later although it did not stay there long and returned to Massachusetts to teach and work on some other jobs to earn a living and family. Two years after graduating high school Robert published his first poem in the New York Independent "My Butterfly" and also has five other poems privately printed. In such an early age that was exhibiting himself as a talented writer, despite the few works were not enough to make a definitive statement about its future as a poet.
His poetic career was over five decades long and during that time he created with each of his poems a body of art that was the representation of America, so that only a few of their contemporaries could create. He was a man who protected his own independence, nothing more, this attitude is reflected in each poem sincere. For example, he wrote in "Generate ground ":" Do not join too many gangs. Join a very few or none. "Frost is claiming the importance of staying always outside groups or gangs as he calls it. He believed that being part of a particular group and you run out or too many options and you must follow and agree or leave. He was a man free spirit and creative thinking.
Frost's poetry was not a very light and fun piece of literature, nor was his life. He was struggling with the final connection of opposites that we are in our lives. Death and birth in black and white interior and a strong ambition for writing versus deepening depression caused by his personal life were the things that gives life in the pages of his books. He was unhappy in his family life, and for a normal human can be a stimulus to die rather than create something new. Only five years after his successful work was published and brought him transatlantic popularity a trail of tragedies started following the poet, as if we should pay for success. In 1920, Frost bought a farm in the south of Shaftesbury, Vermont, near Middlebury College. In the ensuing years has lost four of their six children. Most of the deaths were tragic and unusual that has happened in the life of one person. His first son died of typhoid fever, when he was only four and another committed suicide. His premature daughter died and his sister has gone mad. Clearly those heartbreaks could not have happened unnoticed by the paper on which Robert was describing his inner world. Each poem was holding an immortal struggle of opposites. Are easily combined with a chaotic world systematic orders around the world he encountered in everyday life in simple objects such as trees, houses and brooks. Frost was a farmer at a time and liked to observe nature and the natural order of things that nature provided. These very meditative observations gave him a clearer outlook abroad and the necessary balance in his life difficult. Robert has never surrendered to the darkness, his work as a farmer has given some light and emotional strength that he speaks in this work.
Some say it was a terrible poet when mentioning its "Desert Places". The reason for this perception is in the words that are worrisome for every human being. He speaks of the empty spaces among the stars who actually has within himself. Frost contends that it can be frightening because it has experienced horrible tragedies so many empty spaces in his life that have left in your heart that can not fill anymore. Truth about your destination can be found in those words as he is trying to discover a saving oasis in his soul that would take him back to life. He finds it in his poetry and its sea of words become a stream of phenomenal masterpieces who are born into poverty and combat the human soul. The author was continually suffering from self doubt the feeling that was also transferred in his job, but at the same time, the time gave a strong impetus for improvement and the discovery of the strength within themselves and the beautiful world outside.
